DDW (Digestive Disease Week, 14,000 attendees) is the best-value mega show in gastroenterology and one of the most cost-efficient large conferences in all of medicine. It combines AASLD (hepatology), AGA (gastroenterology), ASGE (endoscopy), and SSAT (GI surgery) under one roof. ACG (American College of Gastroenterology) is the clinical GI show focused on practicing gastroenterologists. For endoscopy equipment companies, DDW is mandatory. For pharmaceutical companies targeting community GI practices, ACG is more efficient. DDW has a 400-sqft minimum for new exhibitors. Plan accordingly.
