The American College of Gastroenterology has not announced the dates, city or venue for ACG 2027 as of September 25, 2026; its future-dates page says only "Please check back periodically for more information." The most recent meeting, ACG 2026, runs October 9 to 14, 2026 at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Exhibitors are companies that sell to gastroenterologists, including device companies, which ACG invites to take part in the hands-on endoscopy workshop center in the exhibit hall.
ACG's audience is mostly practicing physicians: 80% of 2025 attendees were physicians, out of 8,991 total. If you sell endoscopy equipment, a GI diagnostic, or a device used in GI procedures, this guide covers who attends, what the booths cost, and what to do 90, 60 and 30 days before the 2027 meeting once ACG sets the date.

Who attends, and why they matter to a device or diagnostics company
ACG publishes its attendance and mix, and the headline is simple: four in five attendees are physicians. For a device or diagnostics company, that means the people at your booth are mostly the gastroenterologists and hepatologists who choose, use and order your product, not a procurement team.
That shapes what the booth has to do:
- Physicians want evidence and technique. They will ask what the data shows and how the product changes a procedure.
- Fellows and trainees are there in numbers. ACG runs its Endoscopy School hands-on workshop center in the exhibit hall. Trainees who learn on your equipment are future buyers.
- Allied health and practice staff influence how a product fits into a GI practice or endoscopy unit day to day.
ACG also builds time into the schedule for the hall. It advertises "Extended Break Times between sessions giving exhibitors more unopposed time with attendees" and a Sunday evening welcome reception in the exhibit hall, open to all attendees and exhibitors.
What to do 90, 60 and 30 days out
ACG has not set the 2027 dates, so count back from the first day the exhibit hall opens once they are announced. Two points from 2026 are worth planning around now: the 2026 exhibit space application set March 13, 2026 as the last day to cancel or reduce space with a 25% fee, and ACG 2026 exhibitor housing opened in April. Space decisions for an October meeting happen in the spring.
90 days out
- Confirm your booth and decide whether to take part in the Endoscopy School hands-on workshop center. ACG's page says device companies should contact the College to get involved.
- Decide whether to apply for an Exhibitor Product Theater or a company-sponsored symposium. These have their own applications and timelines.
- Build a named list of target physicians: high-volume endoscopists, GI practice leaders in your sales territories, and key opinion leaders who are presenting.
60 days out
- Start outreach to your named list with a specific meeting time at the booth or an invitation to your theater session.
- Check the program for sessions in your product area. Physicians who attend a session on your topic are the best walk-up visitors that day.
- Order booth graphics, demo equipment and shipping through the official contractor.
30 days out
- Confirm meetings and send calendar holds.
- Brief booth staff on the evidence for each product and on what they can and cannot say. Keep every claim at the booth within your product's cleared or approved labeling.
- Set up lead capture that records role (physician, fellow, allied health, practice administrator) and the practice or hospital.
Booth and sponsorship costs
ACG has not published 2027 rates as of September 25, 2026. These are the 2026 Nashville rates from ACG's own site and 2026 exhibit space application, for planning only.
| Space | 2026 price |
|---|---|
| 10 ft x 10 ft inline | $3,700 |
| 10 ft x 10 ft corner | $3,900 |
| Island | $42.00 per sq ft |
- In 2026, cancelling or reducing space before March 13 carried a 25% service fee, and there were no refunds after that date.
- ACG adds a 4% fee to payments made by credit card.
ACG 2026 sponsorship examples, from ACG's sponsorship page (several items were already sold out):
| Sponsorship (2026) | Price |
|---|---|
| Exhibit Hall Opening Reception | $65,000, can be co-sponsored by up to 6 companies, $15,000 minimum |
| International Attendee Reception | $15,000 |
| GI Ignite "Meet the Experts" breakfast sessions | $12,000 per sponsor |
| Digital Marketing Drivers (ad retargeting) | $10,000 |
| Virtual Registration Bag | $4,000, limited to 10 sponsors |
ACG requires that sponsored advertisements reference your booth or approved activity at the meeting. Travel, staff time, freight and show services are separate and not published by ACG.
Pre-show plays
- Book meetings with physicians before the meeting. A gastroenterologist's days at ACG are full of sessions. A meeting booked in advance during a break is more likely to happen than a walk-up.
- Lead with evidence. Your invitation should name the study or data a physician can discuss at the booth.
- Invite fellows to hands-on time. If your company takes part in the hands-on workshop center, tell fellowship programs in advance.
- Tell your current customers where to find you. Physicians bring colleagues to booths they already trust.
At-show plays
- Put clinical staff in the booth. Physicians want to talk with someone who understands the procedure.
- Show the device in use. A simulator or hands-on station answers technique questions faster than a brochure.
- Use the scheduled break times. ACG builds extended breaks into the program for exhibit hall traffic. Staff the booth fully during those windows.
- Record what each physician wants next: an evaluation, a visit from a rep, data, or a training date.
Follow-up plays
- Follow up within two business days with the study, the evaluation request or the rep introduction you promised.
- Route by setting. A physician in a private practice and one in a hospital endoscopy unit buy through different people. Follow-up should reach the right one.
- Keep fellows on a longer list. Fellows finish training and start choosing equipment for their own practices. A short, useful update after the meeting keeps your name in front of them.
- Share questions with your clinical and product teams. What physicians asked at the booth tells you what your next piece of evidence needs to answer.
Common mistakes at ACG
- Waiting for the date to plan. Space commitments and refund deadlines come in the spring, months before an October meeting.
- Sales staff with no clinical depth. Physicians tend to move on from booths where no one can answer a technique or data question.
- Claims that go beyond the label. A physician audience will notice, and so will your regulatory team.
- Ignoring the hands-on center and theaters. These are where physicians spend time with a product, not just walk past it.
Should you exhibit at ACG in 2027?
Yes, if gastroenterologists choose or use your product. ACG's audience is 80% physicians, which is unusual for a meeting of this size.
Probably not as your main show if your buyer is a hospital supply chain or value analysis team rather than the physician. In that case, pair ACG with direct outreach to those buyers.
