I compared five medtech SEO agencies for 2026: Buzzbox Media, Digital Elevator, Icovy Marketing, First Page Sage and Flying Elephant Digital. Each firm is scored only on what its own website showed on September 24, 2026, against four checks: it names a medtech client and describes search work for that client, it publishes a medtech SEO case study, it has a page selling medtech or medical device SEO, and it publishes its prices. Ties go to the firm whose own site says it works only in medtech or regulated health. Scoring on published evidence favors firms that publish more, so a lower score can mean a firm shows less online, not that it does less. Buzzbox Media is my agency.

"No" in the pricing column means I found no published prices on the firm's own site on September 24, 2026. Not published is not the same as not available, so ask. I also checked three firms that appear on other published lists and left them off, because their own sites did not show medtech SEO work on that date.

1. Buzzbox Media

Buzzbox Media is my agency. It works only with medtech companies and healthcare associations and has worked in medtech for over 15 years. The medtech SEO proof on its site is a case study for INFAB, a radiation protection manufacturer and a client since 2014: FAQ schema built from questions buyers asked on INFAB's sales calls, eight internal links, a rewritten meta description and a new heading structure on its lead apron page. That case study reports the work delivered, not a ranking result. Other clients include AAGL and True Digital Surgery, a B. Braun company. Retainers are published at $5,000 to $15,000 a month. It tied with Digital Elevator on the four checks and ranks first on the tiebreak.

2. Digital Elevator

Digital Elevator sells SEO and AI visibility as fixed-price plans, and medtech is one of the eight industries its site lists. Its medtech page names ResusciTech, described there as a medical device company, with SEO, UX/UI and competitor analysis work on an emergency medicine product line. The same page names BMG Labtech, a life science instrument maker, for link building and AI answer work. It publishes three monthly Managed AEO/SEO plans at $3,500, $4,997 and $8,500, with a 30-day cancellation notice, and also offers a three-month program aimed at one named gap. Its medtech page says compliance-heavy work is generally not the best fit for its program model, so it suits teams whose content does not need heavy regulatory review.

3. Icovy Marketing

Icovy Marketing is a full-service agency in Clearfield, Utah that says it works exclusively in medtech and other regulated health industries. It has a dedicated medical device SEO page covering technical audits, keyword research by buyer type, content strategy, AI search, and review workflows for internal and regulatory stakeholders. Its case studies page names Poba Medical, a contract manufacturer, in a case labeled brand development that used an optimized website and social media to increase organic results. Other named medtech clients, including Esaote and Quasar, appear in creative and sales tool work rather than search work. I found no published prices. It ties with First Page Sage on the four checks and ranks third on the tiebreak.

4. First Page Sage

First Page Sage is an SEO and thought leadership firm that works across many industries and runs a healthcare practice. Its medical device SEO page shows logos for Intuity Medical, MyPurMist, SteriShoe and Sawbones under the heading for its medical device clients. The same page describes an unnamed medical device client whose SEO campaign was supported by regularly published, ghostwritten content, and reports revenue results for that client. Its healthcare page says clinical claims are reviewed by qualified medical professionals before anything is published. I found no published prices on the pages I checked. It ties with Icovy Marketing on the four checks and ranks fourth on the tiebreak, because its site covers many industries beyond medtech.

5. Flying Elephant Digital

Flying Elephant Digital describes itself as an offshore B2B digital marketing agency from India, offering SEO for SaaS, fintech, medtech and other B2B fields. Its medtech SEO page covers technical SEO, product page writing, keyword mapping by buyer stage, and content planned so legal and clinical teams can review it. It describes one medtech case: an unnamed MedTech SaaS company selling into hospitals, whose pages were restructured around buyer stages so they could pass compliance review without rewrites. It names no medtech client, and I found no published prices. Its medtech page offers to extend a six-month engagement by two months if the site shows no growth.

How to evaluate a medtech SEO agency

Ask every agency on your shortlist these six questions, and compare the answers side by side.

  1. Which medtech clients can you name, and which pages did you work on for them? A named client and a live page give you something you can check yourself.
  2. Who reviews device claims before a page goes live? Ask how their writers work with your regulatory team and how many review rounds a page usually takes.
  3. Which buyers are the keywords for? Surgeons, hospital purchasing teams, biomedical engineers and patients search with different words, and the plan should say which of them it targets.
  4. How will you report results? Ask whether the report stops at rankings and traffic or goes on to quote requests and sales conversations.
  5. What does it cost each month, what is included, and what is the minimum term? Get all three in writing before you compare two proposals.
  6. How will you check whether AI answers name my company? Ask which tools they use to check ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, and how often they report it.

Before those calls, it helps to know where your own site stands. The medical device SEO checklist walks through the pages and settings to check first.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best medtech SEO agency in 2026?

On what each firm publishes on its own website, Buzzbox Media and Digital Elevator both meet all four checks in this comparison, and Buzzbox Media ranks first on the tiebreak because its site says it works only with medtech companies and healthcare associations. Buzzbox Media is my agency, so weigh the evidence in the table more than the order.

How much does medtech SEO cost?

Two of the five firms publish prices: Digital Elevator lists monthly SEO plans at $3,500, $4,997 and $8,500, and Buzzbox Media lists retainers of $5,000 to $15,000 a month. First Page Sage, Icovy Marketing and Flying Elephant Digital had no published prices on the pages I checked on September 24, 2026, so ask each one for a written quote.

How long does medtech SEO take to show results?

It depends on how competitive your device category is and how much of your site needs technical work before new pages can rank. Ask any agency what it expects to show in the first 90 days and how it will report progress, and treat the answer as an estimate.

How is medtech SEO different from regular SEO?

Device buyers are surgeons, hospital purchasing teams and engineers who search in clinical and technical terms, and a small number of searches can lead to a large sale. Every page also has to stay within what your device is cleared to claim, so the agency's writers need a working process with your regulatory team.
